    Journey through Oceania to see a suit of armour worn by a Kiribati warrior or red feather currency from Santa Cruz. Step back in time to the Victorian-style Animal Attic to explore this fascinating cabinet of curiosities.

    Discover the skeletons in our cupboard! Marvel at New Zealand’s largest fossil, the 7m long Shag Point plesiosaur, or the most comprehensive collection of articulated moa skeletons in the world. Amongst the thousands of exotic items and time-worn artefacts from ancient civilisations, see a 2,500-year-old Mummy from Thebes and learn how her face was reconstructed using CT scanning technology.
