Meniscus Wine Lounge
The vineyard is located on the south edge of the township of Akaroa on the ancient crater rim of the spectacular Banks Peninsula situated approximately 80 km to the south east of Christchurch in New Zealand. The philosophy of the vineyard is to grow grapes to produce wine that is reminiscent of the great wines of France to whom the Village owes its existence being settled by the French in July of 1840. The Vinyard is a delightful setting with a lovely garden out the back. The wine is great and the owner's are extremely caring and informative about their wine and the surrounding area.
